Guarded Choice - Error

Hi was trying to use Guarded Choice so that the next step like click action can be performed once the the DA finds the Guarded Choice location added. But I got the below error message:





Please let me know the reason, why am getting this message and how to resolve this.

Am sorry I have deleted the Bot actually but below is the error message I received:




"Execution has been paused because of an error


 FinderIssue at Step 'Gaurded Choice'


 Finder must not find more than one application"


Am getting this error more times now, but am unable to understand the reason for this error message. Is it because am using the same finder or is there any other reason, am not sure.

Hi,
this happens in case you have a Guard, where the Finder is for example looking a button appears. When the application shows the form, the finder finds more than one button, which correspond to the finder. You have to make sure, the Finder (or Component in 10.3) find only one object, because otherwise it produces this error.

unfortunately am using 10.2 version.

Hi, it doesn't matter, my description works with 10.2 also, I just noted that in 10.2 it's called Finder and in 10.3 it's called Component. The rest works with both.

This means that the finder you have written to find your application is finding more than one application. You need to change the finder to be more specific.
